How do I connect a domain to GitHub Pages?

GitHub Pages — Start in https://docs.github.com/en/pages/configuring-a-custom-domain-for-your-github-pages-site/managing-a-custom-domain-for-your-github-pages-site. Add and verify the custom domain in repository settings before changing DNS. Apex domains use ALIAS, ANAME or GitHub A records; www normally uses a CNAME.
